Accessibility Statement
Baby Teith is committed to making our website accessible to everyone — including people with disabilities. We believe everyone deserves to shop for things they love without running into barriers, and we're actively working to make that a reality here.
Our Commitment
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the internationally recognized standard for web accessibility. This means we are building and refining our site to be:
- Perceivable — information and content can be seen, heard, or understood regardless of ability
- Operable — all navigation and interactive elements can be used via keyboard, screen reader, or assistive technology
- Understandable — content is clear, consistent, and easy to follow
- Robust — our site is built to work with current and future assistive technologies
What We've Done So Far
- Added a "Skip to Content" link to help keyboard users bypass navigation
- Added descriptive alt text to product images so screen readers can communicate what's shown
- Ensured our core navigation includes keyboard-accessible elements
- Installed an accessibility widget to allow users to adjust contrast, text size, and other display settings
- Reviewed our theme for known color contrast and form label issues
Known Limitations
We're a small, independent brand and we're honest: we're still working through a full audit. Some areas we're actively improving include:
- Color contrast in certain UI elements (sale prices, footer text, placeholder text)
- Captions for video content on the homepage
- Form label associations for newsletter signup and search
- Third-party app accessibility (review widgets, popups)
We document these limitations so you know we're aware of them — not ignoring them.
Assistive Technology
babyteith.com is designed to be compatible with the following:
- Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, TalkBack)
- Keyboard-only navigation
- Browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or function
- High contrast mode
- Voice recognition software
Feedback & Contact

Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is not a one-time project — it's part of how we build. We conduct regular reviews of our site as we add new products, update our theme, and install new tools. Our goal is to make shopping at Baby Teith feel as easy and joyful for every visitor as it does for the rest of our community.
